Q. What are the cut-off times for getting an order out the same day?
A. UPS ground same day until 1:30. UPS Red, Blue or Orange same day until 7:00 pm, please note that faxed orders must be received before 5:00 pm. FedEx/Airborne/Emery same day until 4:00 pm. FedEx ground would ship the following business day.

Q. Do you have a minimum order?
A. $50.00 net minimum, unless it is an air freight shipment- the minimum would then be waived.

Q. What do I need to do to order a flange with the mounting hardware?
A. Simply add a "U" to the end of the part # to include the appropriate hardware. This is typically ordered with the o-ring faced flange, but is available with flat faced flanges if required. Check your connection to determine if hardware is needed.

Q. Which numbers call out the connection side size and the flange pad size?
A. The middle number calls out the connection or port size and the last number designates the pad size.

Q. I noticed an item in your catalog- is it available in stainless steel?
A. Yes. Most every item listed in our catalog is available in 316L stainless steel standard (other grades also available). To request an item in stainless steel, simply add "S/S" to the end of the part #.

Q. Concerning split flanges, what is the difference between an _SF-2 & an _SFO?
A. The SF-2's are one split flange half only. The SFO's include 2 halves, an o-ring, bolts & lock washers.

Q. What is the standard o-ring to be used with carbon steel and stainless steel flanges?
A. Buna comes standard with carbon steel & Viton comes standard with stainless steel. Click here for o-ring size chart. (Requires Acrobat Reader)

Q. What are the bolt torque requirements for your flanges?
A. See Page 3 of our catalog. (Requires Acrobat Reader)

Q. Is the pressure rating for Code 61 series 3000 PSI, & for Code 62 series 6000 PSI?
A. See Page 3 of our catalog. (Requires Acrobat Reader)

Q. How do I order a ball valve with a locking kit installed?
A. High pressure ball valves can be shipped with a locking kit installed on the valve by simply adding the suffix "L" to the end of the part number. 1000 & 2000 WOG stainless ball valves come standard with a lockable handle.

Q. What are the standard seats and seals for carbon and stainless steel valves? Are there other options available?
A. High pressure carbon steel valves come with POM seats and Buna-N o-rings standard. High pressure stainless steel valves come with POM seats and Viton o-rings standard. 1000 & 2000 WOG valves have PTFE ball and stem seats. Anchor Fluid Power stocks a wide variety of seats and seals to meet a broad range of applications. Seat and seal conversions can often be made to ship the same day depending upon material availability and time of order placement. Consult the factory to find out what combination best fits your application.

Q. Are all of Anchor Fluid Power's ball valves full port?
A. All cataloged valves are available in full port. Valves are full port unless the letter "R" is present in the model code directly after the port size (see catalog for model code breakdown).

Q. Can ball valves be used for Oxygen service?
A. No. Anchor Fluid Power does not offer a valve that is suitable for Oxygen service.

Q. I am looking for a valve not shown in the catalog. Does Anchor Fluid Power offer other types of high pressure hydraulic ball valves?
A. Yes. Anchor Fluid Power offers many different styles and configurations of valves not listed in the catalog. Valves for specialty applications and custom designs are welcome! Please consult the factory for any items not listed in the catalog.

Q. How does a 3-way valve function?
A. AE3 & AB3 Series valves should be pressurized "IN" through the center port and flow "OUT" the side ports. AE3 & AB3 Series should never be pressurized "IN" the side ports or be exposed to backpressure greater than the inlet center port, as this will cause internal leakage through the valve. AE3K Series valves may be pressurized through any of the 3 ports.
